Description
The BPL Leoni Plus HFO is a neonatal and paediatric ventilator with high-frequency oscillation (HFO) as well as conventional ventilation modes, for NICUs and PICUs.
ICU ventilators provide invasive and non-invasive ventilation for critically ill patients; transport ventilators are compact for ambulances and transfers; neonatal ventilators are designed for very small tidal volumes. CPAP and BiPAP machines provide non-invasive positive airway pressure for sleep apnoea and respiratory failure at home or in wards. Settings are prescribed by the treating doctor.

CPAP or BiPAP?
CPAP gives one constant pressure and is used mainly for obstructive sleep apnoea. BiPAP gives two pressures, higher on breathing in, and is used for patients who need help with ventilation. The doctor decides which is needed.
