Description
A two-function fowler bed supplied with a mattress, for general wards, nursing homes and home care. The adjustable sections help patients sit up and change position comfortably.
How to choose a hospital bed: manual beds are adjusted with crank handles and suit general wards and budget-sensitive set-ups. Motorised (electric) beds are adjusted from a hand remote and suit ICUs, HDUs and private rooms where patients are repositioned often. Two-function beds usually adjust the backrest and knee rest; three- and five-function beds add height adjustment and Trendelenburg tilt. Side rails, castors with brakes, an IV rod and a matching mattress complete the bed.

Frequently asked questions
Manual or motorised?
Manual beds cost less and need no power, so they suit general wards. Motorised beds make frequent repositioning easier and suit ICUs, HDUs and private rooms.
Is a mattress included?
Only where the product name says “with mattress”. We can quote a matching mattress for any bed.
