Description
An electric fowler bed supplied with a mattress. Positions are adjusted from a hand remote, which suits ICUs, private rooms and home care where patients need frequent repositioning. Three-function, five-function, semi-electric and fully automatic models are available.
How to choose a hospital bed: manual beds are adjusted with crank handles and suit general wards and budget-sensitive set-ups. Motorised (electric) beds are adjusted from a hand remote and suit ICUs, HDUs and private rooms where patients are repositioned often. Two-function beds usually adjust the backrest and knee rest; three- and five-function beds add height adjustment and Trendelenburg tilt. Side rails, castors with brakes, an IV rod and a matching mattress complete the bed.
